I first came across this while reading up on writing techniques and found it fit nicely with what I called my ‘Cards’ method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Cards’ approach was simple.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Write a summary of your story on a\u00a0 5×3 lined card<\/li>
  2. Take 3 new cards and break that summary into a beginning, middle and end.<\/li>
  3. Throw away the original card<\/li>
  4. Take the first card and split that\u00a0<\/li>
  5. ……… repeat as needed<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This led to the first tool I built to do this electronically – can it can still be found in the wavemaker software as the snowflake tool<\/p>\n\n\n\n
